    1872 (July 3): Shipmail cover on the Lago Maggiore, directed to the 'Impresa Navigazione a Vapore' in Arona, bearing 1867 (April) Torino printing 20 c. blue, a fresh adhesive, tied by superb framed "LUCMAGNO / 3 LUGLIO 1872" Ship's datestamp. Presumably a unique usage of the datestamp of the LUCMAGNO vessel in order to obliterate the adhesive. Signed A. Diena.
