    Regno, combination usage of Sardinian and Italian adhesives 1863 (Aug 24): Cover from Messina to Torino, endorsed "p postal francais", bearing Sardinia IV. emission 10 c. bistre in mixed franking with Italy Regno 1863 15 c. blue type II (2), three fine and fresh adhesives, tied by light MESSINA cds in black and crisp "PIROSCAFI POSTALI FRANCESI" handstamp in red. Reverse with Genova transit and TORINO arrival (Aug 27) cds's as well as distribution handstamps. Horizontal file fold away from the franking, correct franking between two Italian offices with French steamer, a rate valid in the years 1863 & 1864. Signed A.
