    Regno, usage of Sardinian adhesives 1863 (Dec 3): Entire letter written in Arona and directed to Kerns, Canton Obwalden, Switzerland bearing Sardinia IV. emission 10 c. bistre in a horizontal strip of four, a superb multiple with good to large margins in a fresh deep shade, tied by clear "VERBANO No. 2" Shipmail's cds in black with "P.D." handstamp alongside. Reverse with LUZERN and SARNEN transit (Dec 5) cds's. A most attractive entire from Upper Lombardy via Ticino and Gotthard to Central Switzerland, in the last month of its validity. Cert.
