    1859: 1 gr. 'bruno oliva scuro' and 1 gr. 'bruno oliva' with the typical retouche from plate position 59, both from plate II, two fresh and fine examples with good to large margins all round, tied by light strikes of 'ferro di cavallo' handstamp, "PALERMO PARTENZA 5 NOV. 59" despatch cds alongside, on cover to Catania.
