    1870: Double rate cover from Nantes to Morlaix, bearing Bordeaux 40 c. vermilion orange 'vermillonné', a fresh example with brilliant colour in a deep shade and good to large margins all round, tied by Gros Chiffres '2602' numeral lozenge, despatch cds (Aug 9, 71) alongside. Reverse with arrival cds of the next day. Some wrinkles well away from the franking, a desirable cover. Signed Balasse.
