    Liannos City Post 1865: 20 pa. black on green, perf. 14, a single example used on 1866 entire letter to Vienna, Austria tied by "POSTE LOCALE / CONSTANTINOPLE" cds (Aug 5j) with repeated strike below in black. Thence via Austrian P.O. with "CONSTANTINOPEL" cds (Aug 17g) in black. Oval bilingual "GALATA" City Post datestamp on reverse with Vienna arrival cds in red (Aug 22) displaying well on flap, charged '25' (kreuzer) due to pay in manuscript. A fine and rare entire.
