    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1857/59: 2 d. green, wmk. Star, privately rouletted, a used example of reasonable appearance with repaired defect at top left corner, and touched at right, showing rouletting clearly at left and at top, cancelled by barred obliterator in black. The roulettes are now believed to have been made by a private company to facilitate handling rather than being of Trial status. Despite the imperfections, a rare and very rarely offered stamp. Cert.
