    1896 (May): Type-written "Half- / Penny-" in violet on 1½ d. on 2 d. pale blue, additionally surcharged in Tongan reading up in black, perf. 12 x 11, an unused block of ten (5 x 2), from top left hand corner of the left pane, seventh stamp with "Deformed "E" in PENI" (Row 2, stamp 2), second stamp showing "H" of "Half-" over "P" of "Penny-", of fresh colour and fine appearance, with original rice paper backing. Arricator on margin, a rare and attractive multiple Gi = £ 850+.
