1866/67: 10 c. green, perf. 8½-13½, a used marginal example on 1873 cover to Bordeaux, carried by a non-Contract 'bâtiments du commerce' Steamer, endorsed at top "Packet anglais "Liffey", Lisbonne voie Espagne par Irun", tied by weak "Correo / Montevideo" cds (May 31) in black with repeated strike at left. "OUTREMER / PARIS" entry marking (1 July 1873) in blue and aging and file folds; however the letter should have been struck with handstruck '8' décimes handstamp: 1st July 1873 being the first day of the new reduced rate by private ships: 8 décimes for 10 grams.Starting bid : 120 CHFHammer price : 140 CHF -
