Antilles 1882-86: Puerto Rico 8 c. grey-brown horizontal pair used on 1887 cover to France, paying the double rate, tied by "San Juan" despatch cds (Aug 13). Found top be triple weight upon arrival with triangular "T" marking and the amount due (80 centimes) charged with Postage Due 40 c. black and 4 c. black - either in error or a fraud by the Postal Clerk - tied by 'Sommieres / Gard' cds's (Aug 31).
