    1874/80: Mexico District 25 c. blue (1-76) used on small envelope to the Poste Restante in Besançon, France tied by small "Franco / Mexico" cds. Carried by American ship to New Orleans (May 25) with transit cds, US credit '35' (cents) and framed SHIP all in blue, New York transit (May 30) in black with circular "T" marking. "ETAT-UNIS / V. ANGL. AMB. CALAIS" in red (June 12) of entry and taxed in manuscript '1f. 05c.' on arrival (June 12), held at Restante until August 31, and marked 'Non Reclamé' in manuscript on reverse.
