Germany Empire 1874/76: Lot five covers incl. 1874 from Haguenau to Strasbourg, forwarded to Paris but refused by the addressee, sent back to Strasbourg where opened to figure out the sender, in addition three covers with the new PFENNIGE definitives used in the second half of the year when Germany had already joined the GPU while France did not, also 1877 double rate letter paid insufficiently and regarded by the French postal administration as unpaid.
