    Austria 1851 (July 18): Entire letter from Triest to Montpellier bearing 1850 3 kr. red type Ia on handmade paper, a fine and fresh example with good to large margins all round, tied by TRIEST despatch cds in black, oval "BOLLO INSUFFICIENTE" and French "AUTR. 23 JUIL. 51 ANTIBES" entry cds, both in red and "T.S." (Transit sarde) handstamp in black alongside. Reverse with MARSEILLE transit and MONTPELLIER arrival (July 24) cds's. Taxed with '10' décimes, the full rate in the tariff of July 1851, as the partial prepayment with the adhesive was neglected. A decorative and appealing entire. Cert.
