    1855 (July): 40 c. vermillion, a fine and fresh adhesive with large even margins, well embossed, tied by clear "STRADELLA 15 OTT. 57" cds (Sassone AL/PV = 3 punti), "P.D." in red alongside, on entire letter directed to Modena. Reverse with Voghera border transit (Oct 15) and blue arrival (Oct 17) cds's. A most attractive entire with the 40 c. rate from the first Sardinian rayon to the other Italian states. Cert.
