    1867 (Sept): 10 c. vermillion-orange, a funny adhesive with vibrant colour cut down to the design of the stamp, tied by grill obliterator to cover directed to Roma with "CIVITAVECCHIA 9 MAR 68" despatch cds alongside. Reverse with arrival cds of the following day. A most interesting item, the cutting maybe done to cover a postal fraud. Signed E. Diena.
