    Falso dell'epoca 1859/61: 10 gr. 'carminio lillaceo, falso type IV, a fresh and fine adhesive, good to large margined, tied by boxed ANNULLATO of Napoli, on entire letter to Civitavecchia. Reverse with Napoli despatch (Oct 30, 1860) cds in red and arrival (Oct 31) cds in black, obverse with light "CIVITAVECCHIA / DALLA / VIA DI MARE" entry handstamp. The adhesive made to defraud the postal system 'paid' correctly the 10 grana for the shipmail journry to the border of the Papal States. Signed Em. Diena; cert. E. Diena (1984) Sassone = € 9'000.
