    1854: Carta a macchina 15 c. 'rosa salmone' type III, a superb adhesive with vivid colour and enormous margins all round, pre cut in the left margin just mentioned for accuracy, tied by clear "COMEGLIANS 16 MAG." two line datestamp (Sassone UD = 7 punti) to 1858 entire letter sent to Udine, reverse with Tolmezzo transit (May 17) and Udine arrival (May 18) datestamps of the next day. Cover with file folds, a rare cancellation on an adhesive of utmost attractiveness, signed G. Bolaffi; cert. Gazzi (1982) Sassone = € 800.
