    1878: Value envelope with an insured value of 100 francs from Précy-sous-Thil to Avallon, bearing a horizontal pair of Sage 25 c. black on red type II, a fine and fresh multiple with deep shade, tied by "PRÉCY - Ss - THIL (20) 26 NOV 79" despatch cds, a superb information strike and CHARGÉ in red alongside. Reverse with timbre indicatif de chargement, ambulant Pontarlier - Paris and arrival cds of the next day. A most attractive cover, correctly franking with 15 c. postage, 25 c. fixed fee and 10 c. for the insurance. Signed Goebel
