    1870: Entire letter from St. Céré to Bort-les-Orgues, bearing Bordeaux 20 c. type II report 3 in the extremely rare shade ultramarine, a fresh and fine adhesive with vivid colour and good to enormous margins incl. parts of the left neighbouring stamp, tied by light Gros Chiffres '3537' numeral lozenge, type 16 despatch cds (May 7, 71) alongside. Reverse with two ambulant and Tulle transit cds of the next day. A splendid example of this rare adhesive, signed Calves with shade indication; cert. Goebel (1995) Maury 45/IIIi = € 6'500.
