    1870: Entire letter from Lesparre to Blaye, bearing Bordeaux 10 c. bistre report 1 in mixed franking with Napoléon laureated 10 c. bistre type II, two fine and fresh examples, cancelled together centrally by Gros Chiffres '2012' numeral lozenge, despatch cds (July 11, 1871) alongside, reverse with arrival cds of the next day. An attractive and rare mixed issue combination of same colour and face value to pay the single letter rate. Signed Calves.
