    1862: Entire letter from Tonneins to Bordeaux, bearing Napoléon perf. 20 c. blue showing variety: double perforation at left and right, a fresh and fine single adhesive, cancelled with Gros Chiffres '3970' numeral lozenge, matching despatch cds (Nov. 2, 64) alongside, reverse with arrival cds of the same day. A scarce and most interesting usage on fresh cover, certs A. Diena (1975), Calves (1988).
