    1868: Rivadavia 20 c. vermilion, crossed lines, a used example tied to 1876 combination cover to Bordeaux, France by 'Buenos Aires' cds (May 27) in black. Handstruck POR SENEGAL at left and additionally franked by France 1870 Siège 40 c. orange (2) and Cérès 1871/75 5 c. green and 15 c. pale bistre for the 1 franc rate, all tied by bold 'BUENOS-AYRES / PAQ.FR.J.No.6' octagonal datestamps (May 27) in black (Salles fig. 1073) and by manuscript pen cross. Red framed PD below and reverse with Bordeaux arrival cds (June 24). A splendid and rare cover.
