    British P.O. 1865: Cover to Paris with fine oval framed "QUITO / FRANCA" handstamp in red (Harris fig. 18), with Ecuador "GUAYAQUIL" cds (June 17) in black (Harris fig. 17) and equally fine "GUAYAQUIL" British P.O. cds on reverse (June 18) in blue-black. London transit (July 15) and "GB / 2F 87½ c." accountancy handstamp applied, charged 36 décimes due on arrival. Tape stain and a few scuffs but scarce and opens well for display.
