    Italian Post in Alexandria - Egypt, Levante Emissioni generali 1881 (July 9): Envelope from the Grand Hotel d'Europe in Alexandria to Oybin nearby Zittau in Germany, bearing 1874 Torino-like printing with ESTERO ovpt c. green-grey in 'Due Re' mixed franking with 1881/83 Umberto I ovpt ESTERO 20 c. yellow-orange, tied by barred '234' numeral obliterator in black, ALESSANDRIA D'EGITTO / POSTE ITALIANE cds alongside. Light vertical file fold well away from stamps and postmarks, a rare and desirable mixed franking. Certs.
