    1852: Registered cover from Trujillo to Lima with surrounding "#" to denote registration, endorsed "Por el Correo sale el 1 de Agosto 1852" and "Conteniendo Un Expediente" at top, struck with "TRUJILLO" and  "FRANCA" (Colareta figs. 8 and 6f) and straight line "CERTIFICADO" in black (unlisted). Manuscript at top for rate "Porte 16 / Derechos 8 = 22" (reales). Two large red wax seals on reverse of a fine and rare cover.
