    Messageries Impériales 1869: Mourning envelope from Cayenne to Paris, endorsed "Voie Française", franked at Military Concession rate with 1859/65 Eagle issue 20 c. blue, tied by dotted lozenge in black. Octagonal "CORR. D. ARMÉES / CAYENNE" datestamp struck in bright blue and "GUYANE / CAYENNE" despatch cds (Oct 31) in black below. Carried on Ligne C to Fort de France, thence by Ligne A Paquebot "Martinique" to St. Nazaire with blue entry marking (Nov 23). The envelope slightly soiled and roughly opened at top but away from the adhesive. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 168. Rare. Signed Roumet.
