    RMSP 1853 (Sept 12): 'Sobreporte' entire letter from Bogotá to New York struck on despatch by oval framed "BOGOTÁ / FRANCA" in red prepaid with internal rate "15" (centavos) and, displaying well on reverse, the Sobreporte rate "25" in red also prepaid. Carried by RMSP Steamer "Solent" from Cartagena to Colon. USMSC Steamer to New York with "STEAMSHIP / 20" of arrival in black.
