    RMSP 1852 (Oct 15): 'Sobreporte' cover from Bogotá to Tomas C. de Mosquera in New York, struck on despatch vy oval framed "BOGOTÁ / FRANCA" in red prepaid with internal rate "1½" (reales) below and, displaying well on reverse, the Sobreporte rate "2½" in red also prepaid. Carried by RMSP Steamer "Trent" to Colon, thence by USMSC ship to New York where struck with "STEAM SHIP / 20 / Cts." in black. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 147.
