    Lamport & Holt (Booth) Line 1873: Cover from Amsterdam to Lisbon, Portugal via Bahia, Brazil endorsed "via England", franked by 1872 20 c. green horizontal pair, creased, tied by dotted numeral obliterator with Amsterdam despatch cds (Aug 28) at left. 'London / Paid' transit in red (Aug 30) and carried by L&H Steamer "Olber" to Bahia in error with Brazilian Bahia arrival (Sept 19) and British P.O. cds on obverse (Sept 21). Mailed back to destination on L&H Steamer "Ticho Brahe" to Lisbon with reverse showing "Por Transatlantico" cds (Oct 8), where charged '80' reis due in black. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 89. A most unusual entire.
