    1867 (July 13): 1 s. green, Plate 6, wmk. Spray, lettered IB, a used example on 1872 cover addressed to 'J. C. Crisson, Postmaster, Turks Islands', tied by 'London / 83' duplex in black (Dec 17). Double arc TURKS-ISLANDS arrival cds at left (Jan 6, 1873) in black. The Karl Louis Index records just five covers to the Turks Islands, all from the same correspondence: this being the sole example with the arrival datestamp on the obverse.
