    1868 (July 18): Great Britain 1867 6 d. lilac pl. 6, a horizontal pair used on 1868 cover from Alexandria to London endorsed 'With the English Steamer', tied by three strikes of the "BO1" obliterator with 'Alexandria' despatch datestamp below in black. Scarce early usage of two line "POSTED AFTER / DEPARTURE OF PACKET" instructional marking at left in black. 'London / Paid' arrival in red (Aug 1). Overall soiling but a rare cover.
