    1881 (May 23): Entire letter from Campinas to Italy franked by rouletted 1878 Dom Pedro 200 r. black in a horizontal pair, with despatch cds on front and oval "Registrado" cachet in red. Reverse with Sao Paulo transit cds and Bolzaneto arrival (June 22). Slightest of ageing around roulettes but a scarce and attractive UPU rate franking (200 r. postage + 200 r. registration).
