    Postal relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina 1866 (March 13): Part paid cover from Sarajevo via Brood to Trieste, posted at the Ottoman Post Office in Sarajevo, bearing Duloz 1865 2 pi. light blue, tied by indistinct all Arabic 'Bosna' handstamp in black (Coles & Walker fig. 4/5). Sent to the Austran P.O. in Brood, where "BROOD / 14. JUL." datestamp was struck on front, reverse with Triest arrival datestamp in blue. The cover was charged upon arrival with '10' kreuzer, resulting from 5 kreuzer for the postage and 5 kreuzer charging fee. Fine and fresh part paid cover with the postage up to the border between Bosnia and Austria paid by the sender, while the addressee had to pay the residual part of the journey, illustrated and discussed in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 145.
