    1896/97: Bradbury Wilkinson engraved Die Proof for the 1 s. value with the adopted central vignette and frame in blue and Duty Plates in violet struck on greenish paper (68 x 73 mm.), from the retouched Die with the Lion shaded and with dot behind right Springbok's tail; slight horizontal crease well away from the design.
