    1877 (Oct 3): Entire letter, illustrated with 'Botica Boliviana' inside, mailed from Ciudad Bolivar to Paris struck with perfect impression of circular CIUDAD BOLIVAR / PAID datestamp (latest recorded usage in Parmenter & Gordon) struck in red (Oct 3) with manuscript '1/½d.' prepaid. "Ship Letter / Paid / London" datestamp (Oct 29) at right and Paris arrival (same day) on reverse. Carried at 1 s. rate + 2½d. to France less 1d. Colonial credit, a superb entire.
