    1871 (Dec 17): Great Britain 1858/69 2 d. blue pl. 13 and 1867 3 d. rose pl. 6 with one vertical and two horizontal pairs (unlisted by Stanley Gibbons), used on Uruguay 5 c. blue postal stationery envelope sent registered from Montevideo to J.B.Moens in Brussels, all tied by four strikes of the "C28" obliterator. Faint 'Monte-Video / Paid' despatch cds in red and fine straight line REGISTERED alongside. 'London / Paid' transit (Jan 16, 1872) and reverse with four Brussels arrivals (Jan 17). Perforations of the adhesives somewhat over the edge of the cover but a stunning item - the sole recorded combination of Great Britain stamps and Uruguayan postal stationery and the sole recorded usage of the 3 d. rose plate 6 used from Uruguay.
