    1840/41: 1 d. black, the complete set of the twelve plates used and the reds from black plates 1b, 2, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 11 used; all lettered IL, nearly all being four margin examples with the exception of 1 d. red pl. 5 and the 1 d. black pl. 10; all lightly cancelled by red or black Maltese Crosses. A few imperfections but of generally fine appearance, an exceptional and outstanding achievement Gi = £ 11'450.
