    1872: King Carol 'with beard' perforated, interesting plating study and collection of all three values with cancellation and shades interest, incl. 5 b. carmine unused, five singles, two pairs and a block of four, used six singles and a pair, as well as a pair on part registered cover, 10 b. blue used, eight singles, a pair and a block of four, twelve examples used or on piece and a cover front, 25 b. brown, two marginal pairs, two blocks of six and a block of 25 with some perf. separation, eight used singles, two covers to Austria and Germany, in addition three pieces with mixed frankings with 1871 15 b. red, 1872 5 b. red and 10 b. blue.  A fine lot, stamps mostly with good to large margins.
