    1855 (Feb): 1 d. red-brown on blued paper, wmk. Small Crown, Die II, Alphabet II, perf. 14, a single example used on 1856 cover to North Shields tied by HULL 'Spoon' duplex (code E) in black (Nov 15). Reverse with 'New Holland' undated circle and 'North Shields' arrival in blue. Some trivial aging but scarce, together with off-cover used examples of C3 and C4 (1 d. red-brown on blued paper, wmk. Small Crown, Die II, Alphabet II, perf. 16).
