    1840 (Sept 2): Mulready 2 d. blue letter-sheet, stereo a96, a used example with some creasing, mailed from Belemullet, Ireland to Kirkwall, Orkney Islands, cancelled by Maltese Cross in red with manuscript date '2 Sept 1840' at left. Reverse with 'Belmullet' double arc cds in red and Edinburgh transit in red (Sept 5). Despite imperfections an unusual Irish usage to this destination Gi = £ 2'000.
