    1864: 2 d. blue, Plate I, Imperforate, a fine horizontal pair with contemporary scissor cut between the stamps, large margins all round and a fine demonstration of the worn plate, used with worn plate 1864 2 d. pale blue, Plate I, perf. 12½ at Auckland in a horizontal strip of four on 1864 cover from Auckland to Coventry tied by "1" numeral obliterators of Auckland in black; paying the 1s. rate via Marseilles. Reverse with Auckland despatch cds (Nov 7) and Coventry arrival cds (Jan 19, 1865) in black. A very rare combination of imperf. and perf. adhesives on a fine cover. Cert. BPA (1953).
