    Crimean War / French Forces 1854 (Aug 5): Entire letter from Varna to Millau, France and struck with fine ARMÉE D'ORIENT / QUARTR GAL' datestamp in black. Reverse with Millau cds (Aug 20) of arrival. Mailed unpaid and charged '30' handstruck (centimes) on arrival for concessionary rate. The entire with interesting comments on Varna and the French Division's arrival, the writer had arrived just three days earlier. Opinion Todd (2015).
