    1859: Fine Impression 1 r. blue, a used example with large margins all round, on January 13, 1859 cover datelined at Cucuta, Colombia, mailed at Tachira, Venezuela (some 75 kms. from Cucuta) to Maracaibo and tied by bold strike of circular CORREOS DE VENEZUELA / TACHIRA / FRANCA handstamp in red. Internally docketed as received on January 27 in Maracaibo. Illustrated in Edition D'Or XVI on page 29. A superb and extremely rare cover used in the second week of issue of the first Venezuelan adhesives. Cert.
