    1867: 1 s. green, single examples used on 1867 covers (2) to Birmingham, both with complete contents, with earlier cover used from WOODSIDE (June 7) and struck with PAID / DEVONPORT / CAPE PACKET cds in red (Aug 6), second cover with 1 s. green tied by barred obliterator with PIETER-MARITZBURG cds alongside (Nov 8) in black. A scarce pair, from the same correspondence from which the unique cover bearing the 1859 3 d. blue imperforate between block of four (Gi 10a) emanated.
