    1862: De La Rue engraved original Master Die Proof for the 6 d. value on thick card, of outstanding appearance and of great rarity. Sold together with a Plate Proof in black, notice the difference in the depth of shading on the Queen's right eye, some of which had been lost by the Plate Proof stage of the printing.
