    Second Printing. Overprinted with small "G" 1879: Cape 4 d. dull blue optd. "G" in black, Type 17, used on 1880 cover, with complete contents dated February 5 at Du Toit's Pan, to Emil Burmester in Cape Town tied by barred numeral obliterator (6 or 9) in black. Oval framed DU TOIT'S PAN datestamp at left (Feb 6) in black. 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' arrival cds (Feb 13) on reverse. The writer encloses a pencil illustration of a hanging lamp and the size required with his letter. Minor aging to perfs. but a scarce cover.
