    1900 (April 7): Goodyear 1 d. pale blue on blued horizontally laid paper, a fine used marginal example from base of the sheet of twelve subjects, Plate III, position 34 (10), showing the "Broken Value Tablet" with nine vertical white lines running to the margin, the MAFEKING / C.G.H. datestamp (May 5) leaving the variety clear. Minor separation between stamp and margin, a rare and most attractive stamp Gi = £ 325+.
