    1901: 30 l. on 40 l. greyish-violet, corner marginal pair, perf. 11½ vertically, imperforate between stamp and margin, used on registered cover to Constantinople cancelled by Piraeus cds. Reverse with British and French P.O. in Constantinople datestamps (May 20). A very scarce issue on letter. Signed Holcombe.
