    1807 (Jan 16): Entire letter from Praschnitz (Przasnysz, Poland) to Mayence / Mainz, sent prepaid and struck with fine two line 'No. 2 PORT PAYÉ / GRANDE ARMÉE' in red (Reinhardt = 2'000 pts). The entire written by a Captain in the 28th regiment of the Line in winter quarters. The Campaign led to the Battle of Eylau (Feb 8). Rare.
