    1853: Madrid Local Post 3 cs. bronze on thin white paper, a fine example with ample to large margins all round, used on 1853 entire letter within Madrid tied by smudged parilla handstamp in black. MADRID cds of despatch (May 28) in red above. The entire with file folds away from the adhesive, minimal aging around the stamp as frequently encountered with this issue. Illustrated in the Edifil specialised catalogue (2005) on page 28. A splendid example of a very rare stamp on letter. Signed Calves. Certs.
